Poetry in Motion

Last night I went to a Toastmasters meeting. It is one of the things I do for myself. It helps me grow professionally, and it is a place to network and fellowship with like-minded people. Bill Diskin, Poet Laureat of York, spoke of the joys of writing or reading poetry and asked us to make time to enjoy some poetry. Long story short, I did. Speaking of poetry, I received a poem from a son of a streetsmart mom. I wanted to share it with you.

They do not fuss
Neither will you
If you join us!
